In this life I realize everyday how much I don't know. When I was interviewing for the job I have now at a nursing home I had to fill out a tax form... yikes. Though I was a month away from graduating high school, I didn't know how many taxes to claim or what that even meant. So in an effort not to look confused, I checked a few boxes and signed the paper. But this is just a small and pathetic example of the many things that I don't understand. The bible offers so many concepts that are hard for me to wrap my mind around. One God created this whole world? A flood swept the earth? A dead man lives? Sinners are redeemed? He is coming back? But the answer to all these are, yes! God is God and we are men. We will never come close to understanding the complexity of our omnipotent God, nor should we! I find a lot of comfort in Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." And again in 2 Corinthians 5:7 Paul says, "We live by faith, not by sight." Living by sight in this world, woah, it's pretty rough. Dispite my lack of understanding, I rest asure with a firm faith and hope in Jesus Christ. That alone is more than enough to sustain us.

    I can't wait to meet everyone on the team and for us to learn and grow together. Ultimately, I can't wait to chill in heaven with you all and for Jesus to tell us all face to face of this mystery.
